All required hunting licenses and permits must be purchased by the hunter prior to arrival at the H&S hunting lodge. Non-resident archery, muzzleloader, and shotgun permits are issued in limited quantities and are sold through a lottery drawing. These permits are issued by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and will be available for purchase by internet beginning June 1 through June 30 2008 for archery, and shotgun/muzzeloader applications will be available late July. These permits are only available for purchase by check or credit card and the purchaser must also have driver's license number and social security number available when purchasing.
